Zenergi and Climatise Announce Strategic Partnership
3 min read
A new partnership for scaled carbon accounting
Climatise and Zenergi have announced a strategic partnership to deliver automated carbon accounting to Zenergi's growing portfolio of clients. The partnership combines Zenergi's deep energy management expertise — built over more than a decade of serving UK public and private sector organisations — with Climatise's automated data collection and reporting platform.
Zenergi, a leading UK energy and sustainability consultancy, serves over 60 organisations across education, healthcare, local government, and the private sector. Their team of energy consultants has historically relied on a combination of manual data collection and bespoke spreadsheet models to produce carbon reports for clients. As the regulatory landscape has expanded — with SECR requirements tightening and UK SRS on the horizon — the limitations of this approach have become increasingly apparent.
By integrating Climatise into their service delivery, Zenergi can now offer clients a fundamentally faster and more accurate way to manage carbon accounting at scale.
What the partnership delivers
The integration gives Zenergi consultants access to the full Climatise platform, including automated data ingestion from utility bills, fuel cards, and procurement ledgers; real-time emissions dashboards for every client organisation; and one-click SECR report generation that previously required days of manual compilation.
For Zenergi's clients, the practical impact is immediate. Organisations that previously waited weeks for their annual carbon report can now access their emissions data in real time. Multi-site organisations — particularly Multi-Academy Trusts and NHS trusts in Zenergi's portfolio — benefit from site-level breakdowns that were previously too time-consuming to produce manually.
The partnership also unlocks Scope 3 capability for Zenergi's client base. Using Climatise's AI-powered procurement classification, organisations can upload their spend data and receive a categorised Scope 3 estimate within hours — a process that would have taken a consultant several days per client using manual methods.
Why this matters for the UK market
The energy consultancy model is well-established in the UK, with firms like Zenergi serving as the primary touchpoint for many organisations' sustainability reporting obligations. However, the model has historically been constrained by the manual effort required to collect data, run calculations, and format reports for each individual client.
This partnership represents a shift toward technology-enabled consultancy, where the consultant's expertise is focused on interpretation, strategy, and client guidance — while the platform handles the data processing, calculation, and reporting mechanics.
For organisations working with Zenergi, the benefits include faster turnaround on carbon reports, higher data accuracy through automated extraction rather than manual entry, a persistent data platform that retains historical data for year-on-year comparison, and the ability to move beyond compliance-only reporting toward genuine emissions reduction planning.
The Climatise and Zenergi partnership is now live and available to all existing and new Zenergi clients.
